lalalalala.....i know..sem break started few days ago.. but i guess its not too late to post this.. Hiak hiak hiak~ nothing much.. just wanna conclude this sem :)

hmm.. firstly about Digital Video. haaa...1st time step into video shooting and 1st time involve in film competition(MUFORS).....its not a very bad idea anyway. experience is what we need. so be cool n chill :)

So, video shooting is time consuming i would say and money too.. but its a fun subject when you actually do something stupid through out the project. Hahahhaa.. And yeah, of coz learned some technical about premier pro and deal with your "equipment". pre, prod, post-production..not an easy job because it involved different matter and a team.. so, just take it n go la.. haiya..

Next marketing. HAHAHA. it's totally out of my expectation. Expect something more than moral/sea. hiak?:P

Photography. Went to bukit Cahaya shah alam every sunday/sat and walked until my leg broke. but to be honest, i like the smell of the natural :D so so so freshyy! and not to forget, hate the mosquitoes there alot! bring along some cream or whatever u call it.. or else u will come back with few red spot.

Process of taking photos, i would say its challenging for me. But at the end of the day I'm quite happy with what I've done. It's not the best yet but i think at least i've improved from the starting. at least la. :P *this reminds me i havent filtered and send pics to those who helped me as a model><*

Lastly, Web design II. woots!!! Last sem Web Design I, used up 4months to create 8pages of html with the requirement of using table form. This sem? Approximately given 2months like that to create 8pages of html with Div tag.

Not too bad for the time given because we only have 4 subjects in this semester. So blame sendiri if cant finish. So I blame myself for cant manage to do user testing ONLINE. Sigh....... Nevermind. What I can conclude for this subject is that, self-exploration is important. lalalaalalala~ so do google more:D

They strive on the intrinsic Chinese culture that blends with South East Asia delicious delicacies. In their site, we'll get to see they utilize baba nyonya elements as their main idea. Some argued that Mooncake festival is originated from Chinese and not baba nyonya. So what they respond was because "NYONYA & BABA are one of the sign in Malaysia & Singapore. So we wish to have our own element out of traditional." But still there are some arguments going on.

Their target audience are adults( 20-50+) and yet to multiracial (Malaysia) due to they offer to cater the different types of hampers according to the customer's needs such as special occasions and festive seasons (raya/deepavali and so on).

E) how to train a dog/potty?

1)who am I – Doggie

2)what is it – dog’s thinking

3)what for – to “communicate” well with people

4)1^st task – Environment.

i) Give your dog a comfort clean environment with at least water is available. You as a human do hope want to live under a comfort environment.

ii) Ready a place for potty to “shit”.

iii) Get a dog string. Tie it when only necessary such as bringing it out or relatives/friends come. Dog does need freedom too.

5)2^nd task – Instructions

i) to get near your pet, first is to squat down and put your hand out. Do not hold any thing like cane or stone. This might lead them to think you’re trying to hurt them.

ii) Give your potty/dog a name which is not too long. Bobby, rocky will do. Everytime you try to get near your potty, call his/her name. Starting just call their name without any instruction in order let them know you’re calling him/her.

iii) When your dog is familiar with the name, give simple instruction with one word, such as sit, up, go, come, stop and so on. Owners should teach potty patiently. For certain case, owner can do the action while teaching. Some dogs are good in imitating. Don’t get mad if your potty does not react correctly.

iv) If they react correctly, reward them some dog foods. Do not reward them if they do it wrongly, as this will make them confused and never learn.

v) A larger area like field is more suitable for training as both have bigger space to react.

6)3^rd task – Care

i) Neuter your pet when it reaches the age. This is important if you do not plan to let your dog has a mate and to give birth. This is to avoid and decrease the number of abandon animals. Do bring them for vaccine. Dog will fall sick like human being too.

ii) Bring them to dog “salon” once in a while to trim their hair and for hygiene purpose. Buy dog’s shampoo and not use human’s. For safety purpose, let professional trim their hair and nails.

iii) Do not always tie up your dog. They will get mad/fierce.

iv) any case or you need consult please do feel free to drop by animal care society or veterinarian.

v) it’s better to buy your pet from animal care society like SPCA because it is cheaper comparing from shop. And it’s also come with vaccine.

1)who am i-lazybum who always slack during working time without getting caught.

2)what it is- a lazy worker tries to sneak out from works.

3)what for- to be “smart” in slacking

4)1^st task – Gather materials.

i) pen,desktop, stacks of paper/documents, MIRROR, brown bag, plastic fork spoon, sandwich plastic packaging, half of brain.

ii) place the mirror at ur workspace where u actually get to see if there’s someone tries to sneak /spy you from ur back.

iii) bring different brown bag(pack food) if there’s a logo/image on the plastic.Put it on ur table during lunch time when ur colleague went for lunch or place it when u see ur boss is coming. Assuming you’re super busy with works.

5)2^nd task – “email”

i) never leave a super tidy & clean workspace -

ii) Occasionally let ur boss see ur working attire is messy with eye bag although yesterday nite you were going for clubbing and rushing for work(while passing by ur boss, pretending you’re on call with client & writing down notes/making appointment).

iii) Next would be fun, don’t get caught by while you’re actually on internet(not doing work). Instead of pressing alt+f4, now press alt+tab whenever ur boss is coming. And open at least 1 working document so when u hide ur prohibited internet in 1 second u still hav another 1 second to open the document. Fast and clean cut.

6)3^rd task –i) once in a while send an email/call/msg extremely late/early.

ii) walk faster eventhough u have nothing to do. Walk like you’re busy.

iii) dare to speak up when u get to see boss about project. This is to make an illusion of showing boss u’re keep on the track and you’re really doing work. Boss will be happy of your progressive attitude.

1) who am I – Top graduated student

2) what it is – to be top student

3) what for – encourage n show them the example

4) 1^st task – Have pen and notebook at least.

i) pay full attention

ii) it’s a good habit to do revision/go through some notes before teacher teaches that particular section.

iii) if classmates tend to chat with you, be polite to say, sorry, shall we chat later on.

iv) Do hands up to ask question if you don’t understand. No wrongs to learn.

5) 2^nd task – Revision.

i) Do revision when have free time like waiting for bus or parents. Time is precious.

ii) Be well-organized. Have time table. Good time management.

iii) always do more revision books. Depending on school’s are not enough.The more u explore the more u get. We can’t study maths, we can’t learn maths, we can only improve our understanding by doing more. Just keep on trying and doing.

iv) Mindmapping and colours in doing notes do help in memorizing.

6) 3^rd task – Lifestyle

i) An excellent student not only scores well in studies, as well in co-curriculum.Sports can help one’s mind fresher and to build up their stamina as well as body immune system.

ii) Cultivating a good lifestyle like eating habit and sleep & wake up in time could help a student to memorize easier. Report shown morning is the best to absorb info.

iii) The most important key– everyone is different. Everyone has their own technique to study/score. So, you have to figure out what’s your best way to study.

iv) if your mind is not functioning well/hardly to focus, take a break with kit kat(if you want to).

ii) If they r telling jokes, you feel it is irritating then do not react or laugh.

iii) Don’t answer them anything eventhough he/she asks you a question.

5)2^nd task – Avoid

i) If they still don’t get it, do just find someone to talk to (neighbour).

ii) Make a call or busy sms like you r not listening to him/her.

iii) Act busy with your works/assign if you’re in working space.

iv) Play your iphone games or even just plug in headphone n listen to music.

6)3^rd task – Straight forward( don’t do this to a every emotional ppl)

i) if they still don’t get the message, tell them, can you be quiet?

I) How to draw a portrait?

1)who am I – illustrator/freelancer

2)what it is- drawing portrait

3)what for – deliver a simple/basic technique on drawing portrait

4)1^st task- Gather materials (front view)

i) you would need at least B,HB,2B and 3B pencil, putty erase, A4/A3

ii) you would need B,HB(lighter) to draw the base. Draw a circle.

iii) draw a line to divide the circle to half ( horizontal and vertical )

iv) draw another line which parallel to the centre( horizontal)

5)2^nd task- Determine (female/male)

i) draw 2 vertical lines which is slanted abit. Add the jaw part. Male’s face is more “sharp” in edges compare to female’s.

ii) now you have a basic human face shape. Divide the centre part(eye line) to 5 parts equally.

iii) draw the eyes, eyebrow, nose and lips.

iv) ears are from the eye level until nose level. Ears are in “y” shape.

v) start drawing hair part & don’t forget to draw neck as well.

6)3^rd task – adding details

i) 2B pencil is suitable now. Like eyes are more details.

ii) hatching, cross-hatching is suit for beginner. This is to create a depth(3D).

iii) Determine where’s the brightest/darkest point. Hair? Cornea? Nose?chin?

iv) use putty eraser to soften the value.

v) do not neglect shadow part as well.

J) How to be a superstar?

1)who am I – an agency/broker

2)what it is – to discover talented people in singing/acting // to know your own talent and bring it up to here!

3)what for – to bring up new faces of talented people and lead them to a bright future.

4)1^st task – Knowing yourself.

i) sit down and relax. Think. Feel yourself are good in singing/acting? Does your friend comment about your singing/acting skill? Do you really love/passionate to sing/act? Be clear about your interest!

ii) Clear about what you love to do. Get some research about your idol and analysis how they sing/act. They are good references for you to learn. Of course they do have their own style, so do you. What’s special on you? What’s your style?

iii) Dare to perform and get feedbacks. You can perform infront of your family or friends or upload a video clip to youtube/facebook! See what the audiences say!

5)2^nd task – Attitude

i) Positive thinking is very important. Accept and do more practices. Every superstar created his or her own legend by doing more/keep on trying. Do not afraid of failure or negative feedback. Take their words and improve yourself.

ii) In terms of personality, you have to make sure you can take any challenges. Becoming a superstar has to sacrifice particular thing such as time. Our advice is not to show your black face if you are required to repeat doing the same thing because what we want from you is the best. Be smart in basic mutual respect and we stress on/advice on etiquette(礼仪). Punctuality is what you should have stressed on.

iii) Be ready for anytime. Any sudden challenge will come to you. You have to be ready in anytime to take and go! None of the superstars nowadays became success without any risk/failure.

iv) self-exploration in terms of knowledge/world wide news. Other than get training from company, you do have to do your own exploration. In case of someone ask u any question, you can take it easily without getting it wrong unless you want to see your embarrassed news on the next day.

6)3^rd task – healthy lifestyle

i) a superstar must have a healthy lifestyle. Smoking is not advisable BUT we strongly prohibit, you to involve in drug trafficking/fights. It is a serious offence and we could stop any contract with you.

ii) you will need to control your meal as for male and female. Besides that, get a regular meal and exercise/gym to make sure you’re fit from time to time. Unless you don’t mind you look FAT and pale, your fans critic on you, you are given a special nickname(fatty bla bla) or having difficulties when no sponsorship willing to sponsor you clothes/costume or no one pays you to be their ambassadors.

iii) use your leisure time(if you have) wisely. You’re free to hang out if your time table allow you to do so. But whatever you do, you do need to consider and inform your broker.

K) How to do coin tricks?

1)who am I –magician

2)what it is – a common seen coin trick

3)what for – everyone can learn n trick the others.

4)1^st task – Preparation.

i) what you need is coin, not too small because hardly to hold and trick. 50 sen will do. And you need a mouth to distract people from focusing unless you are very familiar with the trick.

ii) exercise your both hand to make it flexible in order to make you look relax while you’re performing a trick.

5)2^nd task – Illusion.

i) open up left palm, right hand holding a 50sen acting like you gonna put the coin into the left palm.

ii) while the moment your coin goin into left palm, raise up your left palm acting like you’re going to close your left palm.

iii) at this time, use your right middle finger to grab away the coin secretly and fully close your left palm.(people think the coin is already in your left palm but actually you have grabbed it away)

iv) now the coin is in your right hand, hide the coin using middle finger. (they still think that the coin in your left palm which is closed). Tell your audience that the coin is in your left palm while you use your right index finger to point your left palm and turn your left fist to the audience(to indicate an illusion that your right hand is not holding any coin coz you move your right hand too but actually the coin right now is at between your middle & ring finger.)

6)3^rd task – Disappear.

i)the coin is in your right hand now. Right now slowly let your audiences focus on your left fist by telling/showing you going to open your left fist and the coin is disappeared. (right now they are focusing your left fist, now is the time to adjust your coin in your right hand as shown in picture)

ii) Your audience now will be surprised that where’s the coin gone. Right now you quickly have to turn the focus point to the other part so that your audience won’t have time to think the right hand while you turning your left hand to show its gone)

iii) for an example, I choose my focus point at audience. Quickly move your right hand to one’s audience ear side( within this time, open up your right palm but your coin is still at between your middle n ring finger, when you are near to his/her ear, use your thumb finger to push up the coin in fast motion and show it to your audience.)

iv) The key in this trick is mainly on your middle and ring finger to hide the coin. Act naturally , relax as like your the other hand is holding nothing. Keep practicing to make it look smooth.

Flow Chart

Question : Why do you want to use flow chart in your mobile interface design & screen interface design? How will it help your users to meet the interactive goals.

Basically, the usage of flow chart is to organize a plan in an effective way. It's a tool for communicating to the audience/client as a flow chart can lead them to have a better understanding about the plans, to have a clearer message, straight to the picture and so on. We couldn't expect them to have the same level of understanding with the others or Us, right? They might not can imagine how does this plan works without having a better explanation/understanding. In fact, flow chart is same as the design process. What's the objective of doing this..define..research...bla bla bla...presentation..refine...pre-production...final stage...Design Process. Same as flow chart, it has a starting and an ending. All is about the process of producing something. Just the flow chart shows a better and clearer view of demonstrating how does a process goes on and so on. A flow chart can be complex one or a simple one which contains input/output, different possibilities and how/what to do by using simple outlines. And of course, a simple flow chart without too much of info is a better choice as it wont confuse us and, the simple the better understanding (K.I.S.S ? =D ). Therefore,

flow chart is more convenient and easier for everyone in the sense of presenting an idea/a plan to audience/client. However, flow chart can be used for many purposes, not only in design field. perhaps business ? it's a yes! haha..

Flow chart tells us what to do next until the end of a process. In between, there would be many different possibilities or many outcomes that might work or not. Usually we could see a diamond shape in a flow chart whereby it represents decision.*Click here for more information in creating a flow chart* Yes/no, true/false. If yes/true. then what are we supposed to do next? continue.? what if it's a false/no? we have to fall back to the previous step and refine/redesign. the so-called, design solution( think of what you can do to fix it). By the way, this process Yes/No is somehow similar to "Checkpoint" in a treasure hunt. The flow chart is like a checkpoint, isn't it? if you pass through this, then congrats, you can go for the next level.. hahaha...fun? =)

In doing a mobile interface design/screen interface design, (after doing all the research), we might use flow chart to have a better view by making a decision, (etc: whether the art direction/style that we wanna go for functions/works/suit or not? ) If yes, then we shall proceed to further step such as how is the instruction given out(click here or what?), the consideration of colour scheme(warm or cool..), the visual changing style and so on and so forth. And of course, if there's some issue happen in between, we could actually fall back to the previous step instead of we have to start from beginning as if we don't have a flow chart to give us a clearer direction( etc: Ahh! im lost!! where should i fix this..what should i refine from this ..where am i bla bla bla....). And from the previous step, there might have branches or different possibilities again. By using a flow chart, it shows us a very Direct a very clear way to go for next. Hence, with the help of flow chart, problems are usually can be solved/analysed/refined/reviewed in an effective way. right? =) And of course, we do have to check, think and ask ourself from time to time whether we have correctly presented the sequence of actions/decision that involved in a process. On the other hand, by having a flow chart is actually saving our precious time in the organisation of designing as it gives as a clearer direction without wasting time in "guessing" what's/where going wrong? Eventually, you will have more time to go for next or refine your design instead of still sticking with "what should i do/where am i"..it gonna be time-consuming process if without a flow chart. Masa itu emas tau? hee..

Furthermore, a flow chart and mobile interface design&screen interface design( M.I.D & S.I.D) are quite similar in terms of they are actually showing us the next step and leading us to a better understanding.

* If A --> B --> C --> D in a flow chart, then the instruction given in the M.I.D & S.I.D for users are using the same method as well. A to B to C to D. (click here for next and so on....) It's like bringing the audience to understand the "process of making MID&SID" or should i say it's like bringing them to know what's going on without any confusion in an interface design. It's some sort like leading the users to the next step ( click this to next ) and then the next page this thingy pop out from here or there ( saying bla bla bla in conver? text?) and next click this that Or this that will come after this that.

The most important thing is the instructions/the message that we wanna convey to users gotta be clear so that they understand what's going on in every step. Flow chart helps us to make sure things go on correctly without leaving a confusion to users. Hence, the users would be able to meet the interactive goals. *Tada~ ! congratulations~! *

while a sociable person,

i think im quite sensitive in self-esteem.

i will have a low self-esteem/self-worth whenever i feel that i'm "lost" in the sense of ..

when i dont know what should i do and when im in a dilemma situation or i failed to reach my target....

but sometimes i do have high self-esteem or self-worth when my works seemed to be appreciated or when im doing the right thing..

i think most of ppl do have the same situation with me...

so... its normal ? o.0

and im enjoying in doing a team work project or stay in a team..

i've been joined a team called "Exco" for almost 2 years which mean that i was staying and doing/organizing events with a team of 13ppl.

and from there, i've gone through all those bitter disappointment, feeling of failure, and of coz had the feeling of success and sweet memories among us..

serious you would not forget the process , you would not forget the feelings if you do have gone through some sorts "experience" with ur teammates..

The Winner is always part of the answer,
